Speakers

Godi Keller

Internationally recognized and popular educator, lecturer, writer and an expert consultant to public and private educational institutions

Known as the world's best story-teller. He taught children and adolescents in Waldorf schools for more than eighteen years.  Worked as a teacher in the Rudolf Steiner University College in Oslo and elsewhere in Europe for over a decade. Godi Keller is also a lecturer in the training for Waldorf teachers and educators in Ljubljana, where he has been inspiring the future teachers and educators for more than seven years.

His remarkable ear for the concerns of young people has led him to counseling for the young who have dropped out of school and are looking for their place in the society.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh

Minister of Education, Govt of Ghana

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh – is a visionary and dynamic minister of Education from Ghana. He studied Human Biology and Medicine at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and holds Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the Netherlands Institute of Health Sciences. He furthered his studies at Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, where he studied Leadership and Government. Dr. Prempeh worked as a Medical Doctor in Ghana and The United Kingdom. He is a surgeon and a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of the United Kingdom. He subsequently became the CEO of Keyedmap Security Services Limited. He is currently the serving Member of Parliament for the Manhyia South Constituency. As a Member of Parliament, he has served on committees such as Health, Appointments, Special Budget and Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation.

Dr Lauri Tuomi

Program Director, Education Finland

Dr. Lauri Tuomi - an entrepreneur minded leader and business development manager, currently working as the head of the Education Finland Growth Program. The program is one of the nationwide Team Finland programs. The goal is to combine Finland's high reputation as the world's best education country and growing business. His interests are the construction of an internationally scalable business and building ecosystems. Lauri is the Doctor of Economics and a special area of interest has been a strategy development.

Craig Verdal-Austin

Head-Somerset College Preparatory School

Craig Verdal-Austin is currently Headmaster of Somerset College Preparatory School, in Somerset West in the Winelands, outside Cape Town, South Africa. He holds a B.Ed (Hons) in Educational Leadership and Management. Craig has studied in both Cape Town and Johannesburg and has been involved in education in various capacities for 25 years. He is passionate about creative child-centered education and creating growth opportunities for all stakeholders in an educative setting. 

Kari Louhivuori

Pedagogy Coach, CCE Finland

Pedagogical Expert, Veteran teacher and ex-Principal of Kirkkojarvi School, Espoo has been instrumental in developing Finnish learning experiences since the 1970s. Throughout his career, Kari strongly emphasized the collaborative developments of schools and organic educational leadership. In collaboration with Verstas Architects Kari helped in the design and planning of the award-winning Kirkkojärvi School building in 2010. Currently, Kari consults schools, universities, and educators across the globe as CCE's pedagogical expert coach.

Anu Lumiaho

Early Childhood Expert, Finland

Anu Lumiaho is a kindergarten teacher, M.Ed. She has been working as a teacher for eight years and currently she works in Kalkunvuori kindergarten and school, in Tampere. She has also been doing different kinds of development work in early childhood education, especially regarding international affairs, multiculturalism, language issues and the new curriculum.

Heramb Kulkarni

Head, ICT Development, and Strategy, CCE Finland

Speaker and trainer on EduTech, collaborative learning, and innovation across 12 countries. Trained more than 14000+ teachers, Educators, leaders on strategy and ICT innovations Research.

Heramb consults many governments and large organizations across 3 continents, Europe, Asia, and Africa within key countries like Denmark, USA, Bahrain and Indian states like Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. His research areas are educational technology and creativity, global education reforms and collaborative innovations. As an educator, social entrepreneur and technology wizard, he is on the advisory board of many educational institutes and innovative start-ups across Europe and India. He has held leadership positions across large MNCs like Nokia, Lucent Technologies, Skyworks and Accenture with vast experience in technology, architecture and software development domain.

Aleksi Komu

Global Education Supplies and Solution 2018 Award Winner for “Best use of ICT/e-learning in the classroom”

Internationally acknowledged technology expert within the education sector. He has designed, implemented and overseen several successful development projects, including transitioning entire school networks to the digital era. He has specialized in researching and developing information and communication technologies in education. He is extremely passionate about how technology can become a natural part of the creative learning process and believes it can significantly benefit student learning possibilities.

Marja Suurla

Pedagogical Expert, CCE Finland

International trainer and researcher for Education and learning through paintings. She has traveled to many countries to develop teachers awareness of teaching through drawing and painting. She follows Waldorf pedagogy as a teacher from Steiner School, Tampere. She is an expert teacher of arts and paintings for 30+ years and has participated in many international exhibitions with her students. She currently serves as a pedagogical expert with the CCE Team Finland.

Shirin Kulkarni

Research Director, CCE Finland

Researcher in the field of Creative Thinking and education for more than 14 years.

Elena Chukhlantseva

Pedagogical Expert, CCE Finland

Elena is an education expert with a broad background in International and Comparative Education, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Education Research. Her particular strengths are hands-on pre-primary education management and teaching experiences in multicultural and multilingual settings. Among the key interests are learning theories and practices, Early Childhood Education curriculum development and implementation, strategies for working with children with behavioral and learning difficulties.

Prof. Rachel Geesa

Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Ball State University

Rachel Louise Geesa, EdD, is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Ball State University. Her research interests include exploring the academic, professional, and personal development and support structures for educational leaders through collaborative, integrative, and creative approaches.

Sanna Leinonen

Peadagogical Expert on Team Teaching

Experienced teacher, trainer, lecturer and textbook author with over (20+ years). Enthusiastic about professional development, teaching, and learning. She has a long career as an EFL ( English as a Foreign Language) teacher, entrepreneurship and instructional coach. She has worked on the National Core Curriculum with The Finnish National Agency for Education on multiple occasions. Her key competencies are EFL, Team learning, phenomenon based learning and entrepreneurship.
